My favorite looks

This is an extra post to show you somo of my favorite looks! 

(But they aren't necessarily usable)

Ps: As you can see, the last 2 looks I made for the blue shoulderbag contest!

I chose these looks which I think are very strong looking! But I don't think you'll like them that much... or not, I dont know! haha =)

How to turn a black simple dress into something pretty!

The dress I used is a long basic black one, and as you already know, 

basic=more accessories!

TIP 

Black dresses deserve to have many accessories with it, especially colorful, and white ones which stand out A LOT. To make the look more formal or informal, you can just put on different types of accessories. In my opinion, white makes the look a little more formal, like what I did with this look; and more colorful accessories and clothing pieces with prints give  a more informal touch to the look.

Jackets and blazers also make a lot of differente, some are more formal than others! To make it look more informal, a big and colorful bag with the right accessories is excelent!

The Look:

     - Since it is a kind-of-big dress, I put a black belt on it that has a golden detail on it, which stands out against the black.

      - I put a thin transparent white jacket over the dress to give it a little life, and which makes the look formal.

     - With the accessories, I used white just so that it can contrast against the black dress, so I put a pearl whit necklace and a very delicate bracelet which has tiny white flowers on it.

     - As with the shows, I used the same rule with the white, but it is still a very simple white  heel.

Informal

  As I said before, colors and prints make the look more informal. I tried doing that with a jacket that has a black and white print, and with the accessories, the belt, necklace and the handbag, which have color.

       - Heart necklace by Marc Jacobs.

       - Thin orange belt by Monki.

      - Armani Jeans wedges, which is very colorful.

     - Big earthy toned handbag by Tosca Blu.

     

TIP:  I recommend using jackets or blazer that are short, like mini jackets similar to the one I used in this look, if you use a belt over the hips, so that it (the belt) can be seen!
